We are University of Michigan professors seeking a tenant for our furnished cheerful 2-bedroom/1 bath apartment in downtown Ypsilanti, two blocks from Eastern Michigan University (EMU) and an 8-min. walk to U-M's Ypsilanti Health Center. Short... commute to U-M Central Campus in Ann Arbor (20-min. drive, 30-min. bus ride). This quiet, urban retreat occupies the entire second floor of a gracious old house, which we own. Walkable, LGBTQIA+ friendly, diverse neighborhood with cafes, shops, restaurants, a riverside park, public transportation, and protected bike lane nearby. Light-filled living room, separate dining room, and a bright office nook for Zooms. Tenant will have access to two off-street parking spaces behind the house. Included: fiber internet, linens and towels, all utilities, air conditioning. Dogs OK ($50/mo. pet fee).

==> Bedrooms: Queen beds, memory-foam mattresses, Brooklinen duvets, cotton sateen sheets. "Blue Bedroom" has a large closet, dresser, lots of light. "Orange Bedroom" is smaller, darker, has a smart TV (no cable, but you can log into your streaming services or Airplay from your device). There is a door connecting the bedrooms - a quirky detail of this old house! - which can be kept closed (for privacy) or open (for parents with small kiddos).

==> Living room and dining room have Joybird furnishings. Dining table seats four. Living room has a sofa, chair, ottoman, console, and smart TV.

==> Kitchen has new appliances (stove, fridge, microwave), basic cooking equipment, drip coffee maker, burr coffee grinder, electric kettle. (No dishwasher)

==> Bathroom is basic but functional. Tub/shower combo. Fluffy Fieldcrest "spa" towels.

==> Washer & dryer in basement (no charge).
