University Trails is a brand new, ultimate student living community located only a short, private shuttle ride away from campus. Our community includes one, two, three, four, and five-bedroom houses + townhomes and boasts over 12,000 square feet of... customized amenity space developed specifically with the UMich student in mind.
At University Trails, we understand that a student's living environment has a key impact on learning and personal development and therefore strive to provide a dynamic community that enriches the lives of all of our residents. Here, our ultimate goal is to ensure that each student is more successful by having lived at our community.
Apartment was incredibly dirty and unkept on move in day. The carpets were not cleaned and had many dark stains (and some we could not clean out). The kitchen also was not maintained: the sink had a heavy leak, there are marks on the floor, the dishwasher has rust, and our fridge's ice machine does not function. Multiple drains like the kitchen sink and my bathroom sink were heavily clogged with precious tenants' hairs and glued together with grime. Also a roommate had an issue of his electricity cutting out multiple times a day.
Also the services seem to have major flaws. As a student who stays on campus late, I can never find a parking spot. After scanning the area, many cars did not have a permit on display. This is frustrating not only because I am without a spot, but also because I am paying for a service that is not enforced.
Another flaw is that the hot tub has not been working since move in. The weather is going cold and we have not been able to enjoy the amenity we pay for.

Good place to live, bad management. If you are looking for a place with good amenities, this is it but beware of management being uncooperative and maintenance not always responding.

This place sucks. The shuttles are annoying, once you sign your lease, they stop responding to your emails, but before that, they won't leave you alone with emails and phone calls, maintenance never does what they write down that they did, and you have to ask several times for them to do ANYTHING, and after hours maintenance just isn't a thing apparently.

A really cool and comfortable place to live! I’ve had a great experience staying here and really appreciate the convenient location, welcoming atmosphere, and overall sense of community. One of my favorite features is the shuttle service, which makes getting around much easier and is especially convenient for daily commutes. The amenities are also excellent and add a lot of value to the living experience.
The staff are extremely kind, friendly, and always willing to help whenever needed. They make you feel welcomed and genuinely care about the residents. Another thing I really appreciate is how safe and secure the community feels. It gives you peace of mind and makes it easy to feel at home.
Overall, it’s a great place to live, especially for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, friendly, and safe community. I would definitely recommend it to others!
